  1. As i said in another post: Make sure you have downloaded the current version of Naica. You have to change the movement keys in the game not by using the client. To do that log in and click on the little yellow route on the bottom of the screen, go to options and assign your wanted keys there. If all that doesn't help please consider writing a bug report per in-game client.

    QUESTION

Naica is currently in closed beta and can be accessed by an invite (You will find it in your e-mailbox), by winning a key giveaway or by donating any amount of money to support the game (this grants you instant access). For more information about the closed alpha check out this thread here and here. I hope to see you soon in Naica!

    Commands

With the last update a bug got into the game wich lead to you not being able to use your keyboard to press skills. This will get fixed with the next update. Also Hint: Maybe consider re-downloading Naica that might help you out. ^^
  5. The dungeon changes are great, on-level player now have to kill mob groups one by one and work their way to the 2nd Stage. It doesn't feel slow like back in pre-alpha and it adds a lot to the dungeon feeling. The second tentacle phase at Pupuce feels good and isn't to hard to master! The only problem i saw, was that on level players had a very hard time surviving basic boss attacks without a healer sometimes leading to 3-4/5 dead players at the end.

  7. Yes that's right. What not as hard to balance would be, are stats wich are important in PvP but not necessary in PvE. Im talking about things like above: +X% damage against players Players but -X% damage against mobs, -X% crit dmg gained, +X% chance to ignore stun, etc. , etc. Making PvE and PvP 2 different sets not really combine able. This will give PvP its own balancing system making it more independent and better to adjust over time, so PvE "Mains" and PvP "Mains" can both be happy.
  8. I disagree with u on that. There would be again, no reason to work on pvp gear if dungeon gear is just as good. Why not do pvp with dungeon gear then? It's way easier to get and that's why I'm talking about pvp buff with a pve debuff on them to make them only for pvp and not for pve. Leading to 2 different play styles players can choose from and in the end and it's adding way more content since you have to grind both if u want to do pve and pvp. But I would like it if you can give further detail why it should only have 2-3% higher stats (right now that would be 2-3 of the main Stat on an item)
  9. PVP equip re-balancing and stats introduction Through the whole play through from level 15 to 24 I've noticed that there is really no way to be able to get onto PVP equip due to dungeon equip being way more access able, stronger, denser. It also has no benefit to get any PVP later on since it is not nearly as good as basic dungeon gear. I recommend: Introduce a PVP stat to the game wich gives a percentage more damage against Players and lowers your damage against mob enemies. Put it on PVP merchant equip only. It'll give PVP a purpose again and keep it away from just being a fun mechanic. But keep in mind that the PvP equip should have at least similar stats to the dungeon equip for that to work. What also would work is to putting PVE and PVP stats completely apart. But thats rather radical. Im sure many PVP fans would enjoy an update like that.
  10. " if you want people to fight and have some more fun maybe consider making a small fight at the end of area one. Maybe we can encounter Pupuce guards" Very good idea, it would bring on level players to stop here and there to clear out the mobs before entering the mini fight instead of just walking to the next stage and being save!
  11. @ZeddOTak Nice to hear about the Auto-looting plans! As i said i am not a fan of Auto-looting without putting in some RPG elements into it, it feels weird that some invisible thing is picking up all the loot around you. But the loot all feature on the other hand will reduce the looting time while not throwing away the Looting completely. I like that. At the end everyone is going to have an opinion and that's mine.
  12. I'll go with: Reeser as Ophimander - Main Thundorin as Cerbalis Hasko as Vulpian

    chat system?

We had in pre-alpha as well as in closed alpha right now, an active speech-bubble over your head but also a local chat, whispering chat and a guild chat. Sadly no global chat to this date.
  14. They teasered that the open beta phase will possibly start Q3 2020. Dates can always change but that's the only date about the open phase i found. I hope that helped you out a bit, currently we are playing in the closed Alpha and you could join as well to take a look at the swamp of Naica!

    Boat system

That's a great idea, bringing in some fast travel without loosing the open world feeling! I'd enjoy a beautiful animation with it to make it more enjoying then just a simple teleportation.
